"Walking Down Memory Lane" is the 18th episode of Wiksteria Lane.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Buckle up and enjoy the ride as Wiksteria Lane becomes Memory Lane and takes you on a journey to witness key events in the characters' past that helped make them what they are today, or that sealed their doom.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Quote1.png
Have I ever shown you Wiksteria Park? Oh, I'm fairly certain you must have seen it before. Resting there, in the background, a piece of forgettable scenery. It's a shame, really. The lack of children in this community not only strips the place of some life, it makes sure the park is almost always deserted. Pity. Such a beautiful place... and so many notable things have happened there. So why does it often go unnoticed?
Quote2.png

Shot of Wiksteria Park, located in the rotunda at the end of the cul-de-sac that forms the main and titular street of Wiksteria Lane. With a beautiful garden, decorated by multiple colored flowers, and displaying a children's park, complete with swings and a slide, Wiksteria Park is shown abandoned, unvisited, despite its clear beauty and appeal.

DoctorStrange is sitting down on a deserted Wiksteria Park... before Wiksteria Lane became Wiksteria Lane. He takes a long, hard look at all the deserted templates on both sides of the main street. He looks over at the end of the street, the cul-de-sac. Gleekobsessed, the president of the Glee Wiki, comes over to Doc, holding some filecases, and says, "Tell me again... why are you so interested in buying this ghost town?" Doc gets up and explains to him that since his parents died and left him their empire, he has been striving to do something meaningful. "And what could be more meaningful than this? Creating a brand new community, from scratch... giving people templates, homes, a place where they can feel like they belong. In this day and age, with so many... technological advances, the real world... it's almost... obsolete. Here... we can come together, live together, follow our own rules, and do something that matters. That is lasting." Gleek, relatively bored, tells him that was very inspirational, and adds, "Well, I sure as hell don't want this place for nothing. All it is to me is a huge expense. I was gonna have the Glee Wiki merge with this... wiki, but I might as well just sell it to you. God knows it'd be far more lucrative." Doc smiles and says he's more than happy to take it off his hands. "Do you really think you can one day make this wiki as notable as mine or Lostpedia? It's a lot of hard work." Gleek says, as he takes out some documents from one of the filecases he's holding and handing them to Doc. The soon-to-be founder of Wiksteria Lane takes them, smiles and says, "Luckily, I won't be alone at that." A car enters the main street and stops by 4352 Wiksteria Lane. UFO Editor is seen coming out of the car, saying "Hey, buddy." Doc shakes his hand and introduces UFO - as his best friend - to Gleek, who shakes his hand as well. Doc signs Gleek's papers using UFO's back as support, and hands them to him. He then turns to his friend and says, "So... you ready for this?".

DoctorStrange and UFO Editor are supervising the remodelling of Wiksteria Park, and UFO comments that it was very nice of Gleekobsessed to send so many of the Glee Wiki's members over to help them build their new community. Doc says, "Yeah, Gleek is a real trouper." UFO adds that the park is looking lovely, and Doc says he is loving it as well, which is great, because he wants a community that is filled with children's laughter. "Kids bring so much life to every place... I can't wait to have kids of my own someday." UFO says, "Me too..." They start walking down the lane, and UFO starts going on about how the hard work has become a bit too much for just the two of them, and they really should start thinking about bringing in a third party. Doc says he's already issued a call for some help. UFO then wonders why he settled for calling 4352 Wiksteria Lane his home, when he could have claimed ownership to 4354, the template next door, which is 'like, the biggest damn template on this street. Like, the presidential home and junk.' Doc says, "You know I'm a low-key kinda guy, UFO... I don't go for big and flashy. And 52 is a lovely place. It's coming along great." As they almost reach the end of the street, a car parks by 4352, and KiMO is seen coming out of it. The man tells them he's looking for DoctorStrange, the founder of this place, and Doc says it's him. Kimo shakes his hand and introduces himself, saying he used to be an administrator on Lostpedia, and decided to turn his life around, hence why he is now hoping to score a place on Wiksteria Lane. Doc smiles and says they are very interested in landing a third administrator to help them out, so they should all sit down, have a talk and work things out. Kimo says he'd like that, and then he turns around to the car, as a woman gets out of it, and says, "Hey, babe, I found the founders! Get your ass over here!" Doc is somewhat appalled by his company's profane language. The woman - Americana - makes their way over to them, and Kimo puts his arm around her, saying, "This is my girl, Celeste. Ain't she pretty?" Americana/Celeste says "'Sup?"

Doc and UFO are sitting down on a bench over at Wiksteria Park, still admiring the construction being made. They discuss KiMO. UFO says his reputation isn't exactly shimmering, as he caused quite some scandals over at Lostpedia. Apparently, he has some anger problems. Doc says, "Nevertheless, I actually liked him. And there's no denying his resumé is impressive. I think he could be of great help here, and you know I believe in giving others a chance. So... let's keep him around. Make him admin. You know, as a test-drive." UFO says, "Fine by me. We could be positively surprised." Doc says, "Indeed." This said, a convertible parks by the park, and a beautiful blonde woman comes out - the enchanting Lady Junky. She enters the park and is delighted by the sight of the beautiful flowers in its garden, taking some time to appreciate their scent. UFO and Doc make their way over to her and ask her what they can do to help her. Lady says, "Oh, it's, it's because of call... for help, for admins." Doc, apparently slightly concerned with her English skills, asks if she is interested in that position, but Lady says, "Oh, no, no, no, not I, not for I, is my father, you see." UFO says, "Your father?", and a male, distinct voice is heard saying, "That would be me." Villain fan, having just gotten out of the driver's seat of the convertible, comes over to them and shakes their hands, introducing himself, and saying he is the one applying for the job of administrator. UFO asks what his qualifications are, and Vf explains that he is used to bureaucratic and informatic/technological jobs, having worked on a computer industry for more than 15 years, and he is more than ready to make the leap from the real world to the wiki world. He explains that he has no past experience in that area, but assures them that he is quite productive and professional, and more energetic than his age and appearance would make believe. Lady says, "Papa is good. Real good. With, like, recaps, and chats, and templates, and... things." UFO says, "Well... my friend and I have no experience whatsoever either. This is all a first for the both of us, and... I would be more than happy to let you help us out. Say, meet me at my house, 4352, tomorrow in the afternoon, and we'll discuss these matters more appropriately. Villain fan is very glad and agrees to this. Lady tells him, "Oh, papa... we must stay. It... it so pretty." She looks around the neighborhood, still under construction, admiring the work that's already been done and imagining how much more idyllic it'll all be after completion.

Lady Junky is seen sitting on a bench at the Park, reading a book. She closes it and picks a flower from the garden, proceeding to smell it. She then notices a bee on it and is startled, jumping up from the bench and into Lynettefan2626, who was holding a cup of cofee, which is spilled on his shirt. Lady is horrified, and extremely apologetic to the young man, who tells her it's okay, because it was cold coffee. Lady says she still ruined his shirt nonetheless, and he says he doesn't even particularly like it that much. He appears to be smitten with her, captivated by her beauty. Lady smiles at him and apologizes yet again, saying she was scared by a bee. Lynette introduces himself, and says he just moved into the lane, to 4354. Lady says, "Oh, you're new guy, in the big, huge template. So pretty." Lynette smiles. Lady says, "I mean, the house! The house is, is very pretty... not that... you're pretty too, I..." Lady chuckles at how awkward she's being, and Lynette does the same. She says, "I... am Lady. Junky. I live..." - she points at 4349, at the end of the street - "Down there. With my papa." Lynette asks about her mother, and she says, "Oh, no, my mother is dead... car crash. Long story. Is how I met my father, actually. Again... long story." Lynette says, none too coyly, "Well... maybe you could tell me sometime. Over dinner... maybe?" Lady says, "You... are asking me out? On date?" Lynette smiles, a genuine smile this time, and says, "Yes. Yes I am." Lady smiles back.

May 26, 2010

The following day, Lady is sitting on the same bench, with the same book, when her father joins her, bringing with him a newspaper. She says the street is turning out great, and she knows it's in part thanks to him. Vf comments that he is indeed quite proud of all that they have accomplished so far. Lady then asks him what he thinks of their new neighbor, Lynettefan. Vf is silent for a while, and then asks "Why?" Lady says, "Just... because. Of reasons." Vf says, "Well... honestly, I don't like him." Lady says, "Why? You don't even know." "Oh, I do, sweetheart. His family and mine... we go way back. Trust me. I know the kind of person he is. The kind of people he comes from. That young man is a piece of bad news that should never have been allowed into this community in the first place. KiMO hates him. Ah! He's right to do so..." Lady says, "Well... papa, I... I have no idea." Vf asks again why she is interested in knowing what she thinks of him, and she says, "He... ask me out. On date dinner. For tomorrow." Vf is quite surprised. He looks at his daughter, silently, for a few seconds, and then bursts out a, "That... is... amazing!" Lady is confused. "Honey," he says, "You... he likes you? That... is so... useful. You can go out with him. Find out exactly what he wants, what his plans are, what he is doing on this street. Find all of that out and tell me." "But papa," she says, "If you don't like him... you want me to go with him out?" Vf says, "Of course, honey... you have an advantage now. Trust me when I say this, he is bad. He is evil. You can help me, help us, stop him. Take this opportunity, Lady. Grab onto it for as long as you can. It's gonna be of great value to us." Lady, reluctantly, says, "Ok, papa... for you." Vf says, "Great... I love you, sugar." He kisses her on the cheek and says, "Now... let's go home. I have to prep you up for that date. You have to know exactly what to ask him." He grabs her by the hand and they leave the park, forgetting the book and newspaper on the bench.

ImmaGleek is upset, as she talks on the phone to her sister, over at the park. She has just stepped on some gum in the walk of the rotunda. She tries to get rid of it using a popsicle stick, as Regemma, on the other side, says, "Just put your hands on it and yank it, you dumb hoe!" Imma says, "Bitch, please, if I have to get my hands dirty with this fucking gum I'm gonna wipe them clean on your fugly ass face!" Regemma says, "We look exactly the same, you big skankabrona!" Imma simply ends the call and puts her cell phone back in her pocket, as she attempts to get the gum out. Lynettefan2626 notices her predicament and offers some assistance. He takes out a credit card from his wallet and uses it to remove the gum from the sole of her shoe. She thanks him, and asks if he doesn't mind having pretty much wasted the card, soiling it, and Lynette says he doesn't use it anyway, he prefers operating with live cash. They introduce themselves to one another, and Imma says she just moved in, to 4362, the pink template right in front of the park. Lynette asks her if she's met the admins, and she says, "Oh, yeah, I sure have... ugh, they annoyed me so much, those goody-two-shoe bastards. 'Oh, I am so humble and good and this community is peaceful and yadda-yadda-yadda, geez, I just wanted to tell 'em to get fucking laid." Lynette laughs out loud at this. Imma is delighted. He says, "Wow... I'm not usually one to laugh like this." Imma says, "I'm pretty funny... If life were a movie, I'd be the monkey sidekick." Lynette smiles at this comment, and she asks him where he's living. He points to 4354, and she says, "Hot damn... check you out! Hey, handsome, how 'bout we go out sometime?" Lynette says, "I'm sorry, I... I have a girlfriend." She says, "I have a boyfriend. So there." He says, "You do?", to which she replies, "Yeah, over at the Glee Wiki, where I come from. IceBerry. We're kinda... separated right now. Mostly cos he's an annoying cunt who knows how to push all my buttons. Except the G button. Ha!" Lynette laughs again, somehow delighted by her candure. Imma says, "It's just... coffee. Coffee? How 'bout it?" Lynette says, "Sure. Why not?"

Americana/Celeste is seen getting some stuff into her car, taking them out of her template, as KiMO shouts at her random prophanities such as, "Yeah, you better get your fucking skanky ass out of my house, you trashy bitch!" She yells back at him, "Fuck you, loser!" DoctorStrange comes out of his template, and asks what is going on. Kimo shouts, "This bitch is a fucking troll, that's what! She was hired by some shithead from Lostpedia to fucking screw with my head!" Amy turns to him and says, "Baby, surely deep down you must have known that a woman needed an angle to be with you." "Fuck off, whore!" he shouts. Doc tells him to keep it down, because he's causing a scandal. Kimo shouts that he doesn't care, he wants people to know what a bitch his ex-girlfriend is. Doc tells him she is not worth it, and ultimately convinces him to come inside, so Doc can make him some tea and he can relax. They head inside, and Lynette, who had been a witness to the whole thing, comes over to Amy and says, "You're... a troll?". "Please," she says, "That is insultive. Only trolls can use that word. Like negroes with theirs. Call me a professional prankster." Lynette tells her that's quite interesting, and asks what her real name is. She says, "You can call me Americana. Let's leave it at that." Lynette smiles. She notices this and slips him her contact card, saying, "Here you go, dude. Should you ever... ya know. Need to fuck with someone's brain. It don't come any better than me." This said, Americana drives off, and Lynette smiles as he puts her card in his wallet.

Villain fan comes over to KiMO's template, having been called over by him. Vf asks what is up, and Kimo says Vf got a letter over at the Chatroom from a woman in Spain. Vf is confused and asks if Kimo read his letter. Kimo says, "Yes." Vf is aggravated by this, and Kimo says, "Dude, come on, you know me, this is what I do." Vf asks what was in it, and Kimo says, "Man... you have another daughter." Vf is surprised.
Over at Wiksteria Park, Lady Junky and Dr. Sonya are seen leaving the garden, walking and talking, and Jdg98 is seen trying to give his dying uncle, JMsapphireZ, who is still looking somewhat lively, in the early stages following his recently-diagnosed terminal cancer, a candied apple. Sapphire refuses to eat it, saying it would only make him feel even more sick to eat candy. Jdg says he can't watch as his uncle starves to death, to which Sapphire says, "Skip, I'm gonna die anyway, who cares how I go right now?" Jdg tells him not to talk like that, and Villain fan approaches them and interrupts their conversation, asking Jdg to let him have a private talk with his uncle. Sapphire tells his nephew to go and play football with the kids from Main Portal Street. Jdg lets them be alone, and Vf sits down by Sapphire, saying something important and quite mind-blowing has come up and unfortunately he will need to leave the community for quite some time. "I need to... basically, there's someone I need to become acquainted with, and... I just need to... clear my head for a bit. Working on this community... it's been quite stressful. I'm taking a sabatical." Sapphire says, "Why... do I have a feeling there's scandal behind that?" Vf says, "Because there always is." Sapphire says, "I might... not be here when you come back. I probably won't." Vf says, "I know... I just... I have to go. I can't stay here. I'll... miss you though." Sapphire says, "I'll miss you too." Sapphire grabs Villain's hand, and the latter looks around to see if anyone's there, but Sapphire doesn't even let him spend much time on that, as he reaches for his face and the two men kiss passionately, on the lips. They break off the kiss and Vf says, "Yes... I will definitely miss you."

Lynettefan2626 is seen sitting at his desk. UFO Editor, looking like he's been through hell, is sitting in front of him, practically mute. Lynette says, "Well... we have a big day ahead of us today. Compared to it, last night will have been a piece of cake. Sure, we may have had to bury your best buddy, but now, you're gonna have to stand there, like me, in front of all those people, and lie about everything." UFO doesn't reply. "Ha... Kimo is gonna flip when I announce that he's no longer admin. And we have to come up with some excuse... because of his body. Meh, let's just say we had him cremated and his ashes will stay here. With me. In the presidential suite. After all, he was president. It was here he belonged all along, if not for his humility. Yeah... that's nice. I must write it down." Lynette is somewhat annoyed by his company's silence, and asks if he has anything to add. UFO lifts up his head to look at him, the new president of Wiksteria Lane, and says, "You're a monster..." Lynette says, "Yeah, yeah, you said that last night. Now. You're gonna... stay here. And wait. I will be back to take you to the Chatroom later, for the assembly. First, there is something else I have to do." Lynette gets up from his desk, walking past the depressed UFO.
Not much later, Lynette shows up at the park with flowers, meeting Lady Junky, who'd been sitting there, reading a different book than before. Lady smiles when she sees him coming, and he says, "I know how much you love the flowers of this garden, so... I got you some similar ones at the local flower shop. They smell amazing." Lady takes the flowers, smells them, and hugs him, genuinely grateful. He tells her, "I have... to make an important announcement over at the Chatroom today. I hope you'll be there." Lady says, "I can't wait." They kiss, sweetly and gently, and twice.

Renaboss has just arrived to Wiksteria Lane. He drives past his newly acquired template, 4352, and takes a spin around the cul-de-sac, all the while appreciating the beauty of the abandoned park, smiling. He doesn't take much time looking at it, however, as he drives out of the rotunda and heads home.

Quote1.png
Yes... what a shame, really. Wiksteria Park is such a beautiful place. Apart from the template I chose for myself, it was my favorite place on the whole of Wiksteria Lane. Such a perfect prototype of what we were going for when we started that community: a beautiful, peaceful location where people could meet and interact peacefully. Too bad it's so empty of late... it's no surprise. You see, society reflects the people that are a part of it. And Wiksteria Park, being such a notable part of Wiksteria Lane, reflects the current status of that community. One of alluring exterior beauty, yes... but also one of sadness... opression... struggle to survive. People don't come to the park anymore. And thus it stays there... oh, so beautiful... and yet oh, so sad.
