"The Power of Healing" is the 26th episode of Wiksteria Lane.

Summary[edit | edit source]

The doting mother of the President of Wiksteria Lane tries to nurse her son back to health, following a savage beating received from the people he'd pissed off. Meanwhile, Americana's suspicions regarding Regemma's plans grow bigger when she sees that the twin sister of the murdered ImmaGleek appears to not be up to anything, so she sets out to find out what the real deal is, with some assistance. Renaboss must grow accostumed to having three women running around his template, and Gleek must make amends with his wife after neglecting her in the past.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Quote1.png
In life, I didn't remember my mother very well. I was only four years old when the world took her from me. Eventually all the little, big things about her simply started to escape me. The sound of her voice. The warmth of her embrace. The activies she engaged in. I missed her terribly, but somehow forgot what it was exactly I was missing. Her entity eluded me. I just knew that I needed her. In death, well, I was reminded. She came to me, and it was... sheer happiness. I never cried a day in my life the way I cried when I first saw my mother right after dying. It's funny how I found such comfort in death. And it's ironic to think that one of my former acquaintances on the lane would find said comfort too... in their mother's death.

Lynettefan2626 is lying on his bed, in his navbar, looking very bad. He is all bruised, banged up, and hurting severely. He has bandages over his smaller wounds, and a cast on his left arm. But most of his swollen face is now covered in extreme, purple hematomas. His mother, DocMD, is tending to him, putting a powerful disinfectant all over his face. Lynette moans with pain as she does this, and she gives him her sympathy, but remarks that it needs to be done. She also recounts that the doctors said he couldn't get out of bed for a very long time, and that it was a travesty that he refused to stay hospitalized and opted to go home instead. Doc adds that Nurse Applegirl will be checking in on him regularly. "And of course," she adds, "I'm not leaving your side at any time. Whatever you need, sweetheart, I'm here for you." Lynette tells her that's exactly what he doesn't need: "Mother, listen to me... If you want me to get back on my feet fast, you're gonna have to go. Your presence always manages to bring down my spirits, brutal beatings notwithstanding." Doc brushes this off, claiming that she won't let their silly family feud get in the way of her helping her son feel better. "Now," she says, "It's high time we had a little... talk. Would you care to tell me why my ex-husband claimed you raped his daughter? What in fact warranted you being... brutally attacked." Lynette is hesitant. He answers that it was all a big, huge misunderstanding. Doc asks why he refused to press charges then. Lynette doesn't know how to reply. Doc is static for a few seconds, and tears start to well up in her eyes. "You did it... You... harmed that poor girl, you..." Lynette doesn't answer. He just looks at her, stoically. Doc starts to cry, gradually. She covers her face with her hands as the tears stream down. Lynette smiles. She looks back up to him and notices this. She is silent for a few further seconds and then says, "I failed you..." "Yes," he confirms, "You did. You wrecked me." Her voice starts to break from the crying, "So... so, this, what, t-this, this is my fault?" Lynette savors the moment. "Are you proud of me, mother? Are you proud of the man you have raised?" Doc starts to gasp for air. She gets up and starts walking around the room, trying to fight back the tears, to no avail. After a few minutes of full-blown crying, she fights hard to be able to talk and tells her son, "I... I-I will... fix... you. I will... fix this, everything, I..." "Mother," he interrupts her, "Please, don't. It's too late. The monster... is loose. There's no taming it. There's no fixing it. All there is... is living with it. Until I decide that even that will no longer be an option." She asks him what this means. He looks at her with a wicked grin and says, "Goodbye, mother..." She simply stares at him.

We get a glimpse of Regemma through a binocular view. The beautiful redhead is tending to the garden of the template that once belonged to her twin sister, visually recapping the flowers. Next door, in the template that Lynette handed to his thugs, Americana is seen looking out the window with a set of binoculars, spying on the neighbor. Nosh enters the PM room where this is taking place and asks what she is doing, to which she replies that she has been keeping an eye on Regemma for some time, under instructions of their president, but the woman, who should be deadset on avenging her sister's death, doesn't seem to be doing much of anything. Nosh tells her this is a good thing, but Amy denies this, because she is sure Reg must be up to no good, it's just that the professional troll has no idea what that is, and she doesn't like not being in the know. Matthew and Mirlo enter the PM room, and Amy says, "A'ight, here's what we gotta do. I need one of you three little big pigs to infiltrate her... whatever she's got going on. We're drawing sticks. Whoever gets the smallest one goes and talks to her." Matthew asks why they should do this, and Amy reminds him that if they do they will only fall further into the good graces of their president, who is working his way up to becoming the president of all three major wikis, which will put him in a position to show his appreciation to them in great ways. The three thugs are pleased. Amy breaks off three twigs from a potted plant in the template, of three different sizes, and holds them between her clenched hands. The three thugs each remove one. Matthew takes out the biggest one. Mirlo gets the second biggest. Nosh, the simpleton, removes the smallest. "Aw, fuck no," Amy says, "Ok, just, you, middle one, you go and talk to that bitch." Nosh is disappointed: "But I wanted to do it! Lemme lemme lemme!" "No, you're a shithead. You can't tell your ass from a hole in the ground, I'm not letting you blow this." Nosh tells her that's not very nice, and Amy responds, "I'm sorry, I don't know that word." She turns to Mirlo, "You, coon, start working on what you're gonna say to her. There's a chance she likes negroes every bit as much as I do, so you'll need to be extra charming to make up for your skin color." Mirlo doesn't know what to say. He justs looks at her with anger in his eyes. "What?" she asks, "You wanna bust my face? I'm a girl, not an ATM. Get outta here, go." Mirlo and Nosh leave the room. Matthew asks Amy she doesn't just do it herself, and the troll tells him she's already met Regemma, who saw right through her. He then asks why he wasn't just sent then, and Amy tells him he doesn't exactly come across as charming. "Or handsome." Matthew is insulted. He then tries to provoke her: "Is it ironic how the whole of wikia's most renowned troll needs a few dolt-headed simpletons to do her work for her?" Amy says, "I don't know. Is it ironic that you drew the biggest stick yet you have the smallest dick out of the three of you?" Matt is left speechless.

Inside Rena's template, he has his hands full with three girls running around the house. He's trying to make breakfast for all four of them, and Cat is seen painting the images on her coloring books at the eating table. Rena asks her when school starts, and she tells him "8". Rena says it's past 9 already, to which Cat says, "Yeah, I guess it's too late for me to go now. Any leads on the heart in a jar thing?" Mary comes down the stairs, completely naked and wet, with just one towel around her hair. "You know, one towel is not gonna cut it," she says. Rena's eyes widen with shock. Cat looks at her older sister nonchallantly, as though she's used to it, and tells her she's hairier now. Mary says, "Yeah, I was trying to do an au naturel thing. But it's starting to itch." She turns to Rena and asks him to buy her a razor when he goes to the Gallery. Lady comes down the stairs afterwards, her beautiful face recovering from the attack she endured, and is horrified at the sight of her fully naked sister. "Mary! Forsake the God, put "clodes" on! We can see your... your..." "My rata," Mary finishes, "Big deal, the whole street has seen it." She takes the towel from her hair and wraps it around her thighs, still leaving her curvy breasts exposed. Lady gives Rena a judgmental look. "Were you gonna tell her to not go nude?" Rena doesn't know how to answer. Lady's angry look quickly turns into an endearing smile as she shows she was just kidding, and they kiss. Lady then thanks him for being kind enough to let them all stay there for a while. Rena admits that this is not what he had in mind, and he's got his hands pretty full, which will only be made worse when Jdg comes back and there will be five people around the house, but he'll do anything for her. Lady is moved. They kiss again. She then asks him if he's fixed the door to their bedroom, which refuses to close, and he tells her he'll get to it lately. Mary comes back down, dressed in a sports bra and a micro-skirt. Lady scolds Cat for not going to school, and Rena puts breakfast in front of them: burnt tortillas. They all give him a look. Rena asks, "What?..." Mary starts chowing down on her brown tortillas and drinking her soda. Cat picks away at her food and says, "Daddy at least always made great pancakes. I miss daddy." Lady says, "I miss looking pretty." Mary says, "I miss a dick between my legs." Rena tells them, "Ladies, I know our... current situation is not ideal. None of us are exactly how we wanna be right now. But... I don't know how to finish that, just eat your damn food."

BalkOfFame, the depressed president of Lostpedia, who is going through a severe trial for crimes he didn't commit, is having a meeting with Gleekobsessed, his pal, confidant and fellow president. Gleek tells him he's got all of his best men on the job, trying to find the links between Lynettefan and the false evidence planted in his office that connects him to the murder of KiMO. "They've got a pretty flimsy case," Gleek tells him, "You barely even knew KiMO. Whereas there are testimonies to how he flipped when Lynette announced that he was fired, shortly after Strange's death. You know we've got this in the bag, right?" BOF doesn't look too convinced. Gleek tells him to cheer up, that Lynette is grasping at straws and he won't get away for long. But BOF tells him, "It's not your neck out on the line. It's mine. I don't like this, Gleek. My wife, my kids, everyone is worried about me, about what's going to happen to me. And I think on some small level they all wonder if I did do it. Do you know what it's like to live with that?" Gleek doesn't know what to say, he just gives his friend a look of sympathy. His maid then comes in and says his wife is tired of waiting. Gleek tells BOF they'll get to the bottom of this, but now he has to tend to his wife. As he prepares to leave, BalkOfFame tells him, "You're a lucky one, then. I think my wife wants to leave me..." Gleek feels really bad.
Some time later, Gleek and his beautiful wife, Glee Wiki First Lady Primadonna Girl, are having dinner at Chez Wikia, the hottest, most refined restaurant of all wikia. They are skimming through their menus and Gleek suggests that they order the lobster. Prima reminds him, with a sullen tone, that she is allergic to any and all seafood. He then suggests that she make a suggestion herself, and she says she's not even hungry. He proposes that they ditch the place, and she tells him they still have to eat, and it would look rude. Gleek looks beat. She tells him to just order the usual. They put their menus down. He asks if everything is okay, and she simply says, "Fine." A few seconds of awkward silence ensue. He then apologizes for not being in a very good mood that night, claiming that he is worried about his friend BalkOfFame. Primadonna nods. He compliments her dress, and she corrects him, saying it's an ensemble. He compliments her hair, and she tells him she got this hairstyle the week before. He starts to get frustrated: "Look, just... just throw me a bone, okay? Cut me some slack. I... I'm sorry that I haven't been there for you as much as I should, but... to be fair, you do realize the wave of stress that's come down on me recently, right? There is a whole lot that's going on outside the walls of our little template. Surely you understand." Prima tells him, "Well, inside our little template... I am miserable. I feel lonely. Unloved. Depressed. Bored. And like I don't matter. And the one person I thought I could depend on to make me feel better, well, he isn't there for me. He can't be. Too busy tending to his buddies." "My buddies?..." He gets a bit angry, but tries to downplay it, "Honey... Balk is going through a big trial... He is being accused of crimes that he didn't commit! Can you imagine the toll that takes on someone?" "What about me?!" She lashes out, causing some eyes in the restaurant to stare at them, "What about my toll, huh? What about the fricking cross that I fricking bear everyday being trapped in a marriage to you?" "OH, boo fucking hoo!" he tells her, "So you're bored, so you're sad, get a hobby, do something, but get off my fucking back when I am fighting tooth and nail to help people, to help these communities! Why the hell are your problems bigger than everyone else's?!" Prima doesn't answer for a few seconds, she just stares at him, quietly. The people around them can't help but look. And then she says, "Because they're mine." He doesn't answer back. The maître-glee comes over and asks them if they're ready to order. Gleek orders the usual. He takes note of this and leaves. Gleek then turns to his wife and says, "Well... we've put on quite a show. Now, let's... let's just keep talking calmly and then eating like a happily married couple." "I don't feel like breaking bread with you tonight," she says. "Well, guess what, sweetheart, I didn't feel like it very much myself. But you insisted that we came here tonight. Of all nights, right in the middle of BOF's trial. I put a hold on everything I had going on because of you, only to have you spit in my face that I don't do anything for you. I gave you... this night. Now sit back, shut up and enjoy it." Primma is silent for a while further as he smears butter on a slice of bread, and asks him if he wouldn't have taken her out that night if she hadn't insisted. "Well, why would I?" he says. She starts to tear up: "Today is our wedding anniversary." This reminder hits Gleek like a bomb. He is stopped cold, and after some pause, profoundly apologizes to her. She tries to fight back the tears, and then tests him, asking how long they've been married. He shoots for, "F-five... five years?" "You say that like you're asking me," she tells him, "And it's seven. Seven years. Seven years..." she starts to get up, "...Of a sham... of a marriage." "Honey," he starts to quiver, "I am so sorry. I really am so, so sorry..." "Don't!" she tells him, holding out her hand before him. The tears stream down her face. "Don't bother. I'm not going to anymore either. I should've known this marriage was over when I caught that faggot inside of you." She grabs her bag, turns her back and walks away, alone. Gleek is left behind, sitting at the table. Every single head in the restaurant is turned in his direction, and he is mortified beyond belief.

Lady Junky is seen lying on her lover's bed, reading Fanny Hill, when Rena comes out of the shower, wrapped in a towel, still slightly wet. He leans over and kisses her forehead gently, and she is delighted. He then starts to kiss her more and more, all over her bruised face and her neck. Their lips meet. "You're very romantic this tonight," she tells him. "I love you," he says. "I love you too," she replies. "I love you three," he adds. "I love you four." "I love you more," he finishes, with a smile, and they kiss again.

Barf.

He then positions himself over her. They make out a little more, but she seems relatively reluctant. He then removes his towel and she seems to be taken aback by the sight of his proud masculinity. "Honey... not this tonight, no..." He fondles her a bit, and she makes him stop. "You... you have to gotta fix the door. It brokens. What if Cat comes in?" Rena sighs, and gets off of her. She rolls to the side as he gets dressed for bed, and she looks sad.

Quote1.png
The thing is - and this was something Rena didn't realize - the malfunctioning door was not truly the matter. Lady Junky, well... she had been raped. Brutally. Savagely. And painfully. The act of lovemaking, as tender as it could have been in the embrace of the man she truly loved, was still a terrifying notion, now lingering on her thoughts. She needed to heal. Physically, mentally and emotionally.

The followining morning, Regemma comes out to finish visually recapping her garden, and Mirlo, dressed in a fine attire and carrying a small, potted plant (the same one Americana removed the twigs from), walks on over to her. He introduces himself as Mirlo, a new resident on Wiksteria Lane, sharing the template next door with two best friends, and says that he's trying to be as suburbanite as possible and getting to meet the neighbors, so he thought he should start with her. Regemma smiles as she takes the gift from him, and tells him that usually, in suburbia, the new neighbors are the ones who get gifts. Mirlo chuckles and tells her he's a bit rusty still. They seem to hit it off. She asks him why his roommates didn't come over to introduce themselves as well, and he tells her, "Oh, they're... they're arab. Yeah, they don't speak a lick of English." He then asks her if she needs any help around the garden, and Regemma responds that she's fine for she is quite handy, a trait she inherited from her father, a glass repairman, who always played the part of the handyman around their old house and the whole of their neighborhood, growing up. Mirlo keeps smiling at her as she tells him this, and she acknowledges that she's babbling, and asks if he would like to come in. Mirlo tells her he's actually sort of busy at the moment, for he left something in the stove - an obvious lie that Reg shakes her nose at -, but he would love to take her out to dinner sometime, if it's okay by her. Reg smiles and nods affirmatively. He tries to shoot for the following Friday. "It's a date," she tells him. "Great! Um... well, I'm... very happy," he says, always smiling, "I, uh, guess I'll pick you up then." Reg smiles and he leaves. She walks inside the house to go place the plant somewhere. From the thugs' template, Americana, using her binoculars, notices the grin on Mirlo's face, and tells the other two, "We're in."

Quote1.png
That same morning, Renaboss, the Chat Moderator of the community, relished in the fact that, for once, things had actually gone smoothly. The young girl was off to school, his young lover was trying to have a good time at the Gallery, and the young slut was... nobody really cares, but she was gone. He had found the time to straighten things out around the template. But now, well, he had to get to his job. Starting with... a new case. That had just been presented to him.
Quote2.png

Renaboss is seen sipping coffee from his mug as he looks out the window of his template, and notices Villain fan leaving his own home down the street. The middle-aged man gets into his car and drives off, certainly out to perform some errand. Rena puts on his coat and leaves.
Shortly afterwards, using Lady's key, he enters Villain's template, and goes straight to the pantry. There, he finds the jarred heart immediately, and is horrified.

Quote1.png
And there it was, like a prop straight out of a horror movie: a heart, in a jar of goo. What looked, in fact, like a child's heart. Before such an unholy sight, all Rena could do was say...
Quote2.png

"...Dafuq?..." Rena utters.

Quote1.png
And after that, well, Renaboss decided that he was tired of schemes, shady business and trickery. He was gonna go straight to the source, and use his strong persuasive powers to force the truth out of the mysterious Villain fan. I'm not making a factic declaration, I'm just telling you what was going through his mind. I'm just the omniscient narrator. Nobody pays attention to me anyway. Bababooey.
Quote2.png

Villain fan comes home holding grocery bags and is startled to see Rena waiting for him in the PM room, holding up the jarred heart. Rena tells him, with a stern voice, "I know you. I know who you are, I know what you do. Well, not in the traditional sense by which you usually know someone... Where I'm getting at is, I know you're a liar. You lied to me. You lied to your daughters. You get by and by lying to people, everyday. Till your whole life just becomes a web of lies." (Villain is silent through all of this) "So, right now, I'm gonna ask you what this thing is. Whom this heart belonged to. What sort of... inhumane thing you did that led to this. And you're gonna lie. Because it's what you do. But I am warning you... you only get two lies." Villain is confused. Rena asks him, "Whose heart is this?..." He tells her, "It's... it's my brother's. He, he, he, he died! In a, in a car crash. I... I asked to keep his heart, they let me, I, I...!" "Yes," Rena interrupts him, "That's what you told Cat. The thing is, I don't buy it. I did a little digging into your background. No traces of any siblings can be found anywhere. Lie #1. Again: whose heart is this?" Villain starts to sweat. "It's... it's Cat's heart... I, I lied to her, to... to protect her from the truth. She needed a heart transplant as a kid, and, and..." "Yes," he interrupts him again, "That's what you told Lady. Which is why I did a little digging into Cat's background... no medical history anywhere states that she underwent such a procedure. Lie #2. Last chance." Villain doesn't know what to say. Rena holds up the jar, as though he's about to let it fall to the floor and break, and a horrified Villain shouts, "It's a fucking pig's heart!!!" Rena looks confused. "It belongs... to a damn piglet that I used to own. Back when I had a farm. My first son... Daniel... he, he loved that pig." Rena brings up that he doesn't have a son. "Son," he tells him, "I have children all over this world. I could have 50 kids, you don't know. But Daniel... he was the first. Born out of my... my first marriage." He starts to tear up, "He was my pride and joy. But he got sick. Leukemia. And... and he died. And when he did... the piglet died too. They were... they were so close, they were best friends... I think... I think he was sad when my son died. He died of a broken heart. And my... my stupid cousin... sliced the pig open. For eating. I was... I was so livid I beat the crap out of him. And then I... I just..." He is crying on full force now. "I just kept... the heart. I... I know this sounds... I don't know what I was doing, or thinking, I just... I had just lost... my boy... I couldn't keep him with me. But... the pig, I... I kept his heart..." Rena looks at him, as he now sits on the floor, crying out loud. "That..." Rena tells him, "That is a very... moving story." Villain gasps for air. "Too bad I don't buy it," the Chat Mod says. And then he drops the jar to the floor and it shatters. The gooey fluid spreads and the heart is left uncased. "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!" Villain screams as he rushes to retrieve it. He tries to pick up the heart and the goo to conserve it, and cuts his hands repeatedly on the shards of glass. "This is crazy," Rena tells him, "You have issues." Villain starts really crying as the reality of what has happened strikes him. He holds up the heart in his hands and then his face turns red. He is livid. He gets back up, squeezing the heart in his hand, and orders Rena to leave. "I'm not going anywhere till I find out what that things is," he tells him. "You won't... I'm not going to tell you. And you're not going to ever find out. This..." He holds up the heard. "This is more than you can handle, young man. The twists and turns to this fucking ordeal... the story... of this fucking thing... it's so much bigger than you. Don't even bother with it." He starts to walk away, to exit the PM room, and Rena tells him, "You're a psychopath." Villain turns to him and says, "There is no word for what I am."

That night, Lady Junky is seen lying in bed again, reading the same book. Rena comes into the navbar, all dressed, and apologizes for not keeping her company that night, but Gleek has allowed him access to the top secret files on everyone who has ever been on wikia, located in the Glee Wiki Town Hall, so he's gonna do as much research as he can on his father. Lady tells him to be careful. "I feel like... like I don't very know my papa any more. The God knows what he can do." They kiss, and he tells her he can take care of himself. He leaves. After a while, Lady, as she reads her erotic novel, decides to do something she's unsure about. As she reads through one of the most graphic passages, she starts to fondle her left breast. She plays around with the nipple a bit, and then allows her left hand to slide down her stomach, over her silky nightgown. She puts it inside her laced thong, and starts to rub. It feels wrong to her. But also right. It pains a little, but also tingles. A mixture of hurt and pleasure overcomes her as she gets reacquainted with her sexual side, following her attack. Outside, on the halls, Mary is walking around, having just grabbed a yogurt from the fridge. She passes by the navbar where her sister is staying, and notices, through the semi-open door that refuses to properly close, that Lady is touching herself. Mary is titillated. She puts her free hand under her own nightgown, under which she wears no panties whatsoever, and starts to rub, with vigor, the freshly-shaven skin. The two sisters engage in the art of self-love, one of them unbeknownst to the other.

The following morning, Rena is looking on as Cat paints the images on her coloring book at the breakfast table again. He sips coffee from his mug, and the young girl looks up and asks him why he's staring at her. Rena tells her he just noticed how talented she is, and she smiles. He then sits down next to her, putting the coffee mug down on the table. She asks him about the jarred heart again, and Rena tells her that he doesn't know who it belongs to, but what he does know is, he doesn't want her being around her father anymore, for he is not a stable person, and she might be safe with him. Cat looks concerned. "Don't worry, sweetie," he tells her, "I'm right here for you. I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you. I wouldn't allow that to ever happen again." "What do you mean, again?" she asks, innocently. Rena pauses. "Just... you're okay. With me. I'll make sure of it." He stands up and kisses the young girl on the back of the head. She shows a hint of a smile and goes back to coloring. He picks up his coffe mug and resumes drinking, looking at her.
Flashback - Young Renaboss, aged 19, has just made his way to the United States of America, all the way from Portugal, where he was left orphaned at a very young age. Fresh out of the orphanage where he was raised, Rena has come to the land of opportunity to live out the American dream. As he makes his way to his motel bedroom, he notices some minor commotion in a garbage bin. He thinks it's merely stray cats, but then he hears a soft, feminine voice saying "Ouch", indicating someone is inside the bin and has just hurt themselves. Rena asks, "Who's there?" and the commotion stops. He moves towards the bin to examine it and opens the large lid to find a little girl hiding inside - MissMayfair. Rena is confused, and she starts tearing up and begging him not to make her leave. Rena asks who she is, and she is scared to answer. "Hey, hey," he helps her out, "It's okay. No one's going to hurt you. It's okay. Look, my, my name is Renaboss. What's your name?" She still doesn't answer. He wipes her tears with his hands and asks her why she was hiding out in the trash. She can see she doesn't have to be afraid of him and says, "Because my grandpa is looking for me. He wants to kill me." Rena is horrified.
Back in the present, Rena finishes his coffee and sighs as he looks over to the child he currently has to protect.

Next door to them, Lynettefan has gotten out of bed and made his way to his office. Wearing his pajamas, and still looking all banged up, the president tries to sit down at his desk, but his body is overcome with pain. He screams with frustration, and his mother rushes over to him. "Honey, what are you doing out of bed?! It's not good for you." He tells her he has to get back to his work. "Sweetheart," she says, "Your new secretary can handle all the... bureaucracies for you. Please, please let me take you back to your navbar." She grabs him by the arm that doesn't have a cast and she shakes her off and pushes her. "Lynette!!!" she starts to scold him, "How dare you push your mother like that?!" He looks at her with pure hatred in his eyes, and orders her to leave. She doesn't answer. "Get out of my house NOW!!!" Doc shoots him an angry look. Then she starts to tear up. She turns her back and starts to walk away, but then turns back to him and says, "To answer your question... I am not proud of you. I am... so... ashamed. My son... is the president, of a thriving community... He's a handsome, smart young man... With his whole life ahead of him. And so many achievements under his belt. But... I... I am so disappointed in you... What good are all those things if you fail at what really matters? You're incapable of showing kindness, compassion. You're incapable of love. You hate me! Me! Your own mother! You had a lovely young bride and you defiled her! You... you..." He grins again. "Say it, mother... agree with me. I'm a monster." He tries his best to come closer to her, always smiling wickedly, and saying, "Well I've got news for you. Monsters don't create themselves. You created this, mother. So be ashamed of yourself." Doc is outraged, "No. No, no, no, no, NO!! I... was a good mother. I taught you etiquette... I taught you politeness, to be kind, to be giving and selfless... I did all those things without ever being too strict! I would have let you play if you wanted to, I would have let you live wildly if you wanted to! You were... you were a sad child, all your life. I tried my best to change that... it didn't matter. I couldn't fix you." He walks up really close to her, and says, ""What good is all that... all the proper maternal things you did... when you didn't listen to me? When you didn't believe... your own son? When you chose someone else over me? It was one... one thing you did wrong. Just the one. But it puts everything you did right in the shade." Doc fights back the tears. "And the worst part," he tells her, "Well... you still don't believe me, do you?" Doc wipes her tears with her face and says, "No... I don't." Lynette expected such a response, but it still stings him. His face conveys intense anger. "Get out," he tells her, one last time. She starts to walk away. "Mother," he says, making her stop but not look back, "From this moment on, you are dead to me. Figuratively. If you ever pop back up in my life, I'll change that to a 'literally'." Doc gets a chill. She leaves.

When I was in pain, I cried out for her. Almost instinctively. When I felt nostalgic, not even sure of what, I tried to remember her. And when I felt happy, well, I wished she were there to bask in that with me. I needed my mother all through my life, to help cure what ailed me, or just to be proud of me when I stood unharmed. It is always excruciatingly hard for us to heal when we don't have those with the best solutions to our problems around. What happens then? Well...

Lynette sits down by his desk, at a great cost. He opens his drawer and looks at something. Flashback - Lynettefan, relatively younger, receives a phone call. On the other side is Matthewvp09, the leader of the private investigators he has hired. "Mr. Lynette?" "Yes. It's me. Well? What do you have to tell me?" "Well... turns out those leads we had may have been good ones. Some eye witnesses place a girl that matches the photograph you gave us around these parts. We think that... that she may have been taken by someone." "Who?" Lynette asks. "Well... we have worked on sending you a picture. Figured you might be interested." Lynette checks his e-mail account and prints out the picture they've sent him. He takes it from the printer and looks at it. "Are you telling me this man has my daughter?" "Nothing is affirmative at this point," Matthew tells him, "But we're almost positive. I'll stay in touch." He hangs up. On the other side, Lynette puts his phone down and looks at the picture in his hands... that of Renaboss, coming out of his motel bedroom.
End of flashback. Lynette spins his chair around and looks out the window, and sees Rena driving to the Chat Mod station.

Renaboss parks his car by his new home on Wiksteria Lane. Lynettefan2626 watches as the new neighbor arrives, and looks shocked. He reaches into the desk drawer and pulls it open, to find the picture of Rena, coming out of the motel bedroom. He holds it up against the window and compares him to the young man unpacking his stuff over at the template next door. Soon enough, Lynette walks over to him with storebought muffins he had around the house, and introduces himself. Renaboss comments that he loves home made pastries, but Lynette tells him they are store-bought, because he can't bake, or cook, or do anything home-related. But he's proficient nevertheless, and likes to be inclusive to all newcomers. Lynette says this with a large smile plastered on his face. Renaboss is thankful; Lynette says he can't wait for Rboss to start working alongside him, as he could use all the help one can get. He then heads off on his way. Later, Lynette is inside his office, looking at Rena through the window. ImmaGleek walks into the office and reminds him of the meetings that he has to attend that day, and that his fiancée has hired a wedding planner. She notices her boss looking at the new neighbor and asks him what he thinks of the new wiki member. Lynette tells her he seems like a nice, capable, determined man... "And that is why I have to destroy him." He turns to Imma and says "And you are going to help me." Imma smiles.

We find new ways to heal. And that was exactly Lynette's intention. He didn't care about actually getting better himself anymore. Being... 'fixed'. Oh, no. He had other priorities.

Lynette looks livid as he watches Rena drive away from the main portal and out of sight. He crumbles up the picture in his hands.

He knew the only way to go about it was to bring pain upon others. Through their ailment, ah... he would heal himself. Or so he thought...
