"Apocalypse, Part 2" is the 21st episode of Wiksteria Lane, as well as the second part of its second season finale.

Summary[edit | edit source]

In the second part of the mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, long-awaited season finale, Lynettefan2626 is beyond livid when he receives a surprise visit from his overwhelmingly kind and sugary-sweet mother, who wishes to attend her son's wedding. Meanwhile, Americana decides the time has come to teach her previous boss a lesson - the hard way -, and Lady Junky gets cold feet when her wedding day finally comes. Renaboss has a case of the blues as he realizes the woman he once loved and whom he now can't be with is about to walk down the aisle, and chaos is installed on Wiksteria Lane as the 'apocalypse' finally begins...

Plot[edit | edit source]

Quote1.png
I am fairly certain of one thing: at some point during the time you've been a witness to the events unfolding on Wiksteria Lane, as much as I have, you must have wondered how it is that Lynettefan2626 became such an evil, dark human being. Well, in order to get a proper answer, you would probably have to take a look at his origins. However, his mother, DocMD, was not the answer. After all, she is merely mind-boggling. How exactly is it that such a sweet, kind woman gave birth to an evil mastermind?
Quote2.png

DocMD, Lynette's mother, smiles at her only child and opens her arms wide, calling him in for a hug. Lynette puts a disgusted look on his face and his mother tells him to behave, and thus they hug, albeit reluctantly on the son's part. Doc comments on how skinny he is and how he probably hasn't been feeding very well, and Lynette says he's fine. Doc says, "Good, seeing as how you're fine, then, where do you get off getting married and not telling me about it?" Lynette asks how she found out, and Doc tells him it's all over the Wiki World News, on Channel 33. "I mean, first you keep the fact that you're president of a wiki from me, and now you fail to mention you're getting married? Why would you do that, sweetheart? Don't you know how proud of you I am?" Lynette puts on his trademark smile and tells his mother he doesn't need her pride in him, as he's got plenty of pride already. Doc comments on how she can't figure out why he was always so snidely and mean, even towards the woman who loves him the most. Lynette apologizes - sarcastically - for being such a puzzle, and Doc tells him, "Well, we can... walk past this, I'm sure. Now I know, that's all that matters. Have that... spunky latina maid of yours come and get my luggage, and then introduce me to the bride, if you will. She looked so pretty on TV." Lynette is shocked that she is staying, and Doc smiles at her son and says, "Oh, honey, as if I would miss my only child's wedding."

Inside the local Moderation Station, the Chat Mod, Renaboss, is busy handling some excruciatingly boring paperwork regarding the arrest of physician Dr. Sonya, who is seen standing in his cell, previously containing Jdg98, and who asks Rena what will happen to him now. Rena says he is going to be tried eventually, and most likely placed in a real jail, unless Lynette decides to be all "goody two-shoes" again and keeps him there. "I don't look forward to that," Rena says, and Dr. Sonya apologizes for what he put Rena through. Rena tells him he doesn't get to apologize, because what he did was awful, making someone believe they're dying from cancer is awful. Sonya comments that he is particularly touchy that day, and Rena says it's merely because he's having to go through boring paperwork and having to engage in chit-chat with a troller and murderer. Sonya says he's not actually a troller, which he had explained to Rena already: Americana had something on him, and she would have used it against him. Rena asks if he means the murder of JMsapphireZ, and Sonya says, "No... it was something else." Sonya then goes on to say, "But I don't think... that's why you're so upset today. She's getting married. Today, she's getting married." Rena tries to play dumb and asks what he's talking about, and Sonya says, "Come on, don't act stupid... everyone knew just from looking at you... You love Lady. Pretty much since you came here." Rena refuses to reply, and quietly continues his boring task.

Over at Villain fan's template, where Lady Junky has been temporarily staying due to the whole 'the groom can't see the bride before the wedding' thing, the patriarch reunites his two daughters in the PM room, to tell them that his third daughter, Cat5sparkles, will soon be joining them in that household, seeing as how her mother recently died of a car crash. Mary says, "Déjà vu... well... déjà heard." Villain asks them to be accepting of the little girl, and Lady says she can't wait to meet her. Vf smiles.

In her bedroom, Lady Junky calls her fiancé over the phone, and Lynette picks up on the other side. Lady tells him she just got a call from their maid, I luv pll, who is very upset that she has been told not to come to the wedding, even though Lady had already invited her. Lynette tells her he can't have the help at their wedding, it's a presidential marriage, the entire community and some big-shot people will be attending, he doesn't want their zany maid in the mix, mingling with the presidents of the other wikis and reporters. "It's not just her, none of my employees will be attending. Nothing personal, I just don't want them there." Lady doesn't reply, and Lynette, sort of frustrated already, asks her what's wrong. Lady says, "Anything... it's just... every day you find new ways to make me disappoint." Lady hangs up. Lynette puts his cell phone down and mumbles, "Ah, suck it, bitch."

DocMD shows up at Villain fan's template, and the middle-aged man is surprised and happy to see her. They hug, and Vf invites her in and asks her what brings her to the lane, to which Doc replies, "Why, our children's wedding, of course." Vf smiles and says, "Right, right...". They sit down on the couch, and Villain caresses Doc's face, genuinely happy, and says, "Oh, Doc, you have no idea how wonderful it is to see you again." Doc says a similar thing. She then tells him she wanted to meet the blushing bride-to-be, and her son told her that she lived here, and that she was Villain's daughter. "I have to say," she tells him, "This situation is... somewhat odd, isn't it? I mean... to some extent, it is like they're siblings." Villain fan smiles and says, "And God knows at this point that I don't need any more kids." Doc jokes that he must have at least 20 children spread around the world. "You get around, Villain." The man chuckles, and so does his company. "Ah...", she says, "I missed you so much since we parted ways." Villain takes her hand and says he doesn't even remember why they did so, and Doc says, "Because you hated my son. And I was afraid of dying in a car crash." Villain bursts out in laughter, and Doc chuckles with him.

As Americana handles her machine gun, DoctorStrange talks over her scene.

Quote1.png
Americana knew that this was going to be a great day. And also the last one. So she would have to make the most of it. The plan was quite simple, actually. She would break into the church and lock the premise, bringing with her the machine gun she had stolen from the Community Center. She would then hold everyone hostage and kill the guests in attendance in a wave of blood and carnage. She would then turn on her hateful boss and his loving bride, and later on herself. Yes, the simplicity was actually quite astonishing. A trip to the church, a massacre, a suicide. The hard part - stealing the weapon, among other things - was done with. She just needed to work some kinks... and make sure that her appearance would be explosive.

Lady Junky is finally seen in her wedding dress, completely adjusted, and she looks extremely beautiful, in a way words can't describe. "Check my baby out... the most beautiful woman in this world and others." Lady smiles as her father shows up behind her, and puts one hand over her shoulder, looking at the mirror in front of them. "Am I lucky or what to be giving you out? Everyone will be so jealous of us, sweetheart. The proud father and the pretty bride." Lady says, "I have so many chicken feet though, papa... I don't... I don't want to marry that evil man. I am so afraid." Villain tells her they've been through this, and he won't let anything happen to her. "I've got you, sweetheart... I have now for several years, and I will continue to have your back." He kisses her on the cheek, and Lady says she still can't get Renaboss out of her mind. He has been so distant lately... ever since they made love. Villain is shocked to hear this, and says, lowly, "Well, that explains a lot..." Lady is sorry to bring up such an awkward topic before her father, and he tells her it's okay, that she can tell him anything. "And as for Renaboss, well... I must admit I feigned some... surprise when you told me, dear. I already knew." "You did?" "Oh, but of course, I have known for months. Practically since I came back. So I... I had a talk with him. Nothing bad, certainly. I simply told him what I felt he needed to hear in order to keep some distance from you. I knew I was doing the best thing, protecting you both. If your relationship... continued, Lynette would not have been pleased, and our plans, darling, could have been ruined." Lady asks him what he told Rena, and he says, "Just... that he should respect the engagement of two lovers, and not turn out to be the one who ruins a future wedding. He understood. He respected it." Lady is saddened by this, and Villain says, "Now... let's get ready. I have to prepare myself to show off the most beautiful bride who ever lived, don't I?" He kisses his daughter again and leaves the bedroom, leaving a depressed Lady looking at her beautiful yet sad self in the mirror.

DocMD returns to her son's template, carrying with her a bag with new clothes, to find him standing in front of the staircase, looking somewhat angry, arms crossed, and apparently waiting for her. Doc asks him what is wrong, and Lynette tells his mother he thought she was with Villain all this time, which upset him deeply. Doc says she only stayed at his place for about 10 minutes, and then she went to the Gallery and got herself a new outfit to wear at the wedding. Lynette asks his mother why she bothered, seeing as how she wasn't invited. A shocked Doc tells her son she knows she wasn't invited, but she figured he'd let her come anyway seeing as how she actually came to the wiki. Lynette says, "Mother, I left home for a reason! After what happened with dad, and Villain... and Missy..." The last name makes them both look a little blue. Lynette continues: "I... broke off all contact with you because I don't want to be bothered with family anymore. I'm starting my own family now." Doc says, "How can you say that, honey? I am your mother." "I know. And I know that you love me, very much. But when I needed you, when I depended on you, you ruined my life, mother, and now you can't sweet-talk me into liking you and letting you go to my wedding. I don't want you there, and I don't want you in my life anymore." Doc says, after a moment of silence: "Well... that breaks my heart. It really does. You don't want me at the wedding. Okay, I get it. Fine. But I am not going anywhere anytime soon, Lynette. I'm staying. And we're gonna work through this. The two of us." This said, she heads upstairs, and Lynette looks furious.

Flashback - Lynettefan2626, in a cheap suit, is seen by the entrance to a small chapel, outside of any wiki. A beautiful brunette girl - RandomRambler - in a cheap white wedding gown approaches him, carrying a small bouquet of fake flowers, and asks him if he is ready. Lynette says, "Bit nervous, but... yeah. I wanna do this." The two young people kiss, and then they both smile, an earnest smile. Lynette then says, "My mother is not gonna like this..." RR says, "I know... but when you love each other like we do... what can anyone do about it?" The couple hold hands and walk down the aisle of the chapel together, with a priest waiting for them at the small altar. End of flashback. Fade to black.

Quote1.png
The time had finally come... for the long-awaited wedding. The social event of the year. Well, of many years, really. President Lynettefan2626 was getting married, and almost the entire community of Wiksteria Lane, plus some guests from the two other major wikis, are witnesses to it. As am I.
Quote2.png

The local church, just outside of Wiksteria Lane - the street - is packed. More than 200 people are seen in the house of worship. The handsome Lynettefan2626, in his expensive tux, waits for the beautiful bride at the altar. The minister waits behind him, giving some sort of introductory speech as the audience waits. In the front row sits MaryPierceLopez, and the wedding planner, QuinnQuinn, is seen at the back of the church, wanting to make sure everything runs smoothly and according to her plans. The large screen is seen over Lynette's head, showing his image to the audience. The altar is beautifully decorated, as is the rest of the church. The main entrance doors are opened and the heads turn with expectation, hoping to see the bride come in, and the church's organist even starts playing the famed wedding theme. However, Villain fan walks in instead. He makes his way up to the altar and addresses Lynette lowly, telling him he's been waiting for half an hour but he can't find his daughter anywhere, and she doesn't answer the cell phone. Lynette is overcome with anxiety, and asks him what this means. Villain says, "I think my daughter isn't coming..." Lynette is horrified and infuriated, but tries to keep his composure. Villain fan takes his middle child by the hand and whispers into her ear. They start to make their way out of the church, and Mary turns to Lynette and says, "Sorry, dude." The people in attendance exchange quiet comments with each other, over the fact that the bride is so late and the bride's father is now leaving. Lynette grows more and more nervous as he stands there, at the altar, silent.

Renaboss enters his template to find Lady Junky, the beautiful bride-to-be, dressed in her all-white wedding gown, waiting for him on the couch. She stands up and he, clearly surprised to find her there, asks her what is going on. Lady says, "I have... waited for you for long. I... didn't know what to do, I just... I can't marry him. Lynette. I don't love him." Rena doesn't know what to say. She tells him: "I love you. I... loved you... from the moment you pick me up when I fall on the street. From the moment... we first look at each other. I have loved you... from then." Rena seems to be really frustrated to be listening to this. He tells her, "You can't... say that stuff, Lady, you... can't." "I know. It's wrong, I know, I have been told. He... he even killed Imma... because of us. Because of me. But... I can't fight it. No longer. We can... we can run. Far away, and be together, and... be in love and happy and safe and free." Rena starts mumbling that they can't, and she moves in closer and kisses him on the lips. He immediately pushes her away, leaving her shocked and horrified. She asks him why he's acting like this, and he says, "Because I don't love you!" Lady is confused and surprised to hear this, and says, "Yes you do. You just... are afraid. It's okay, I too am." "No. What I mean is... I don't love you. I never did." Lady starts tearing up and says, "You lie..." "No, Lady. I'm sorry." - Rena sounds very convincing - "The first time I saw you I thought to myself... I wanna bang this chick. And from then on... I made that my mission. Along with taking down your fiancé. I wanted him to hurt... by having him know his blushing bride wanted me." Lady starts full on crying at this point, and begs him to take this back. Rena, fighting back the tears himself, says, trying his very best to sound convicing, "Sorry. I'm fucking tired of these games. We did it. It was alright, could have been better. Now I'm done with you. You can... go back to your little big wedding and to your psycho fiancé, and live happily ever after or whatever. I don't care. Never did. Not really." Lady slaps him on the face, and sits down on the couch afterwards, trying in vain to wipe her eyes clean with her hands. Rena looks out the window while she is occupied with this and does the same.

Lynette is trying his very best to keep his composure, having been humiliated before a crowd of more than 200. Quinn approaches him and asks what is going on, to which he replies, "I have been fucking stood up, that's what." His eyes mirror a quasi-murderous rage. The giant screen above him goes black. Quinn asks if she should tell everyone to go home. The screen then turns itself on again and, to the surprise and confusion of everyone in attendance, it shows us the face of ImmaGleek, Lynette's former secretary. "Hello, Lynette," she says, "And everyone else." The sound of her voice brings chills down Lynette's spine, and he gets down from the altar and looks at the giant screen. Everyone's attention is caught by it, and Quinn says, "This wasn't in the plans...". Imma, seen sitting in her bedroom before her camera, tells the audience, via the recording, "I am truly sorry for putting a crimp in everyone's day. I'm sure you all had... such high expectations for this very special occasion. The presidential marriage. My expectations... well, they involved the wedding being shut down." Quinn asks Lynette if that's not his former secretary, and Lynette tells her to shush. Imma goes on to say, "The thing is... and this is something very few people know... I have been in love with our great president ever since I met him, pretty much. But, you see, life... sucks, sometimes, and what happened is, the man I love chose a dumb, stupid French whore to marry instead because it'd look better. The populus love a ditzy blonde, don't they?" Imma then addresses Lynette himself. "And... well... as for you, Lynette... I knew that I couldn't trust you. To keep your promise. To eventually dump her and be with me. I knew that, if you ever got married to her, that would be the end of it for me. For us. So, I... made a very difficult decision." Lynette says, as though he knows where this is headed, "Oh, my God..." Imma says, "I overheard... you and Americana once, talking about the bombs being kept in the Community Center (see 2.01 and 2.04))... should there ever be a wiki war. I stole them. Almost all of them, really. It was so fucking easy, Lynette. And I have to say, I was surprised at the lack of security here at the church too. The president is getting married, and yet... not even a guard with a stick is put on display. So... well... you know where this is going, of course." This said, Lynette starts walking down the aisle, up to the main entrance, with his back turned to it all the while, staring at the screen as he walks backwards, while everyone just stares at the large screen featuring the deceased woman, with a look of confusion on their faces. Imma says, "I set everything up just right. Ten minutes after the organ played the wedding song, well... the wedding would end. If the wedding were called off, I'd turn it all off. If not, well..." Lynette gets out of the church and closes the main doors, and then dashes off. "Goodbye, Lynette. And Lady. May you die happily ever after." Quinn says, "Oh, fuck..."
Out on the street, at the entrance to Wiksteria Lane, a huge exploding sound is heard, and Lynette looks on as the windows of the church are burst into little bits as clouds of fire pass through them. Inside the jail cell at the Moderation Station nearby, Dr. Sonya comes to the bars, startled by the sound. Regemma, cleaning glasses in her template, drops one and comes outside.
Inside the church, the organ blows up and some people sitting in the front two rows of the right side of the church are blown into the air with it. Quinn lets out a horrifying scream of panic as the back of the altar blows up and a statue of the Virgin Mary is blown in her direction and takes her head with it. Quinn's severed head rolls down the aisle, as a man caught on fire passes by it without even touching it and a girder falls in front of the main entrance, blocking the passage and keeping the people from getting out. Out on the street, Renaboss and Lady Junky come out of the former's template, shocked at the sight, and Rena asks what's going on, with a hint of panic in his voice. Lynette, smiling with pure excitement, turns to him, and says, loudly, "It's the motherfucking apocalypse!!". One by one, the remaining people of the lane, I luv pll, DocMD, Villain fan and MaryPierceLopez join them, as do other people who didn't attend the wedding.
Inside the church, the fire consumes the guests and the minister. Some charred corpses are seen lying on the floor, and the flames take care of the rest, and eventually the ceiling and the walls start to crack. Doc calls the firemen, but to no avail. Three minutes later, the church crumbles to the ground, taking with it whatever survivors there could have been. A limousine drives past the church and stops. A horrifed and confused Gleekobsessed, the president of the Glee Wiki, comes out of the backseat and turns to Lynette, asking him, "Lynette, what is the meaning of this?!" Lynette's smile becomes more toned down. He turns around, to his bride, and says, "I should have known I'd find you with him..." He walks past the small crowd at the entrance of the street and walks into his template.

Quote1.png
At that very moment, Lynettefan2626 was sure of one thing. Today had marked the start of something very big. The times ahead would be hard, for everyone. A war was going to go down.
Quote2.png

Lynette closes the door behind him, and walks upstairs, into his office. He sits down on his chair, behind the desk, and rolls it around to face the window behind it. Outside, Renaboss looks terrified by the sight of the church, serving as a graveyard. Inside the office, Lynette smiles, yet again.

And he couldn't wait for it to begin...
